Step 1

Undo the 4 screws on the base of the foot controller, prise off the lid.

Step 2

Find the capacitor on top of the rheostat housing, undo the 2 terminals and remove it.

Step 3

Shape the leads of the replacement capacitor to fit the terminals, put it in place.

Step 4

Put the wires back, do up the terminals, put the lid back on, do up the screws, you're done!
