In the right bachelor pad, this'd be a great phone charging-station!
But, yahknow, I chose /this/ project (TI-86 hackery) because, being tiny, it fits in my current situation...

Awesome. In the 80's I reconditioned a fire box phone when that system was being decommissioned in my hometown. It's was pretty cool kitsch for the house to have your home phone be in a fire box! I lost it in my travels, and I regret that.
