Teaser Video 2

Give it a watch, it's eye candy, we worked hard on the cinematography! If you've been reading these logs, you will recognize many of theses snippets we filmed during R&D!

Stealth Blade Demo

Check out the acoustic test demo of our stealth blades! Decreasing volume at the RPM we're working with is very hard, but by raising the pitch and tightening the resonating frequency, it further helps mask the acoustic signature of the drone by eliminating the familiar chopping sound associated with drones! Keep an eye on the waveform!

@Gravis Please read the entire projet goal first before suggesting things that directly contradict the mission goal. If it's not compact, it's no longer man-portable, and no, it's not a typical quad. Your speaking in terms of volume, we're not trying to decrease volume, we're trying to dissipate and mask the acoustic signature of the blades to better blend in with ambient noise levels. That's a function of pitch and resonance. If you incorporate balloons, it's no longer a practical rapidly deployable ISR asset.

Incorporating lighter than air assisted flight doesn't have to impact deployment.

Honestly, it just looks like you are making a cheaper weaponizable quad.

Have you considered significantly fewer RPMs by increasing the size of the blades?

Yes, but that's more practical in a heli configuration rather than a quad. The overall footprint of the drone in this project had to be relatively compact increasing blade size would make it less portable

Not sure why it has to be compact but if you want stealth then sacrifices are required. You could make a hybrid design incorporating lighter than air balloons. It wouldn't be super agile but increasing loiter time seems ideal.

Right now, it's just a typical quad is /slightly/ less noisy blades. I think that is a long ways from being stealthy.
