Step 1

here we have the Kopin 922k, we will extract the lcd module only.

Unscrew the case the holds the microlcd

Becareful not to damage the ribbon cable connected to the microLCD

place a little piece of tape over the screen to prevent fingerprint smudges

remove the white backplate

Step 6

Remove the red/black wires from the led.Place tape over the light dispersal films.

Wew are going to trim the white sides circled in red

Now that the white sides are trimmed it should be easier to insert into the Frontpiece.STL

i will break it down to 3 parts Front Bridge(left),Button Bridge(Middle),Pi holder(right). Its easier to start assembling/wiring the Button Bridge first, then the pi holder and finally the front bridge.

Button Bridge
Cut 30AWG x6 100mm strands and wire to 3x SMD tactile buttons.Assemble inside Button Bridge
