FabLab Leuven reached out to us in the search for something else than a flat PCB with some LEDs and batteries to learn kids how to solder. The idea of a kit card style soldering kit was born. In order to make the kit a bit more interesting, some technical details about the plane is added in Dutch.
By popular demand, a new revision of the kit was created with a SMD switch added. This slightly increases the price, but if price is important a simple solder bridge can be made as well to bypass the switch. The SMD switch has small plastic pins in the PCB allowing for easier placement and soldering.
