Getting close now. After testing getting everything into the 3d printed shell, I sadly had to give up on the sound. The speaker stopped working once I put it together and it wouldn't fit inside anyway. So no sound. But everything else is good. Going to glue it all together tonight and hopefully will have a fi ished victory video soon!

Great source of tiny speakers for replicas: Laptops.
Long, flat speakers with built in bass reflex boxes.
You will have to tune your audio (like they do) but they do pretty well with just that 3W MP3 player on a chip and if you are playing sound effects, the weird response curve of the speakers can add.
Good luck and great work.
