Description

It’s a cute robot head with movement and expressions displayed through an LED matrix. I plan to integrate it with platforms like Google Home and ChatGPT to create interactions similar to a virtual assistant.

You can purchase the round matrix PCB i designed for this on my Tindie page.

(Looking for a name for him; if you have suggestions, I’d love to hear them!)

  • Sponsoring PCBWAY

This board is an ESP8266 shield. It features a PCA I2C servomotor driver, power management and protection, 3.3V to 5V signal conversion for the LED matrix, a buzzer, and I²C/serial extension ports.

This will make the robot much cleaner by replacing multiple jumper-connected boards.

Thanks to PCBWay for sponsoring my project — if you need high-quality PCBs delivered fast, go check out their offers!

I am working on a PCB for the leds, it will make it more easy than soldering pieces of leds strip together. Still working on the 3d files to, it's not really friendly to assemble for the moment,  I am  improving it.
