Description

We are a team of undergraduate students at Johns Hopkins University and we created this project for Josh Basile, a C4 tetraplegic and dad of a newborn who wanted to spend time face-to-face with his son in his wheelchair. This project was completed to its current state in March 2022 and since then, Josh has been using this attachment to take his son on walks around the neighborhood and to spend more face-to-face time with his son in his home. This project was created to attach the Graco Snugfit 35 Infant car seat to the Permobil M3 Corpus, but we hope that by sharing our CAD and assembly instructions here that our design can be adapted to work for different baby seats and different wheelchairs.
