I printed up a copy of the keyboard as quickly as I could! I knew something wouldn't work with it, and I wanted to find out what. It was the central emblem and the front curve. Everything else printed perfectly!

Initially, the symbol was a PNG that I ran through inkscape to vectorize, but it came out imprecisely, and too thin in parts. Consequently, there were some print bed adhesion issues when it came out.

Seeing as it is a prototype, I've given it a blast of 3 different paints: Gremlin Green, Matte Black, and White Cream. I want the chassis to feel good to the touch, and that means sanding it down. Giving it a coat of paint ahead of time provides a nice visual indicator to when the initial layer has been sanded down, it fills in the gaps so less sanding is necessary (hence black paint on black PLA), and it can give you a nice uneven colored texture or shine if so desired.
