I have developed some simple but functional solutions to use normal 18650 and 21700 LiIon cells as well as the original DJI LiPos for my breakout mod. Here I want to share the STL files with you and show you how to assemble them. If you develop other solutions, feel free to share them with the community :)
Caution: Working (and especially soldering) with LiPo and LiIon cells is dangerous. Short circuits can lead to fires and even explosions. This is just a brief overview. Inform yourself carefully before soldering battery cells. Everything is done at your own risk.
How did you manage not to lock the BMS during your modifications?
Did you always provide enough voltage for the BMS to think the battery is not deep discharged?
How do you charge the batteries?
Is a locked BMS still useable for you mod?
I have an original FPV battery thats locked and can't charge the normal way. Maybe I can use them as a replacement if the cells in the other batteries start to fail. But I don't know how to swap them without triggering the BMS lock.
I also need to know how to do that without looking the BMS
