Arm Mate is a project that combines the technology of biomechanics, electronics, and mechanics to improve the quality of life of people with arm mobility problems.
It is an assistance and rehabilitation system designed to address the specific rehabilitation needs of patients with mobility problems, by addressing the lack of accessibility that exists in the population to continuous physiotherapeutic treatments, derived from accidents, diseases such as strokes, and diseases of birth.
Its modular and flexible design approach allows for customization to individual patient needs, allowing individuals to access a personalized treatment routine tailored to their needs from the comfort of their homes. It will be an intuitive and continuous treatment experience that will help them improve their mobility and with it their quality of life.
The placement of the system works by size, and from there it can be adjusted.
It is made with Tpu and carbon fiber, in addition to having an adjustment system with stepper motors, which allows adjusting and/or restricting movement according to the case of each patient. It also includes electronic recording and monitoring capabilities, allowing rehabilitation and medical professionals to tailor exercise programs to the individual needs of each patient.
