1Brainstorming
1. The first thing we had to do was to brain storm a topic for our story and the design of the book. We got inspiration on Pinterest on different lamp designs to get a better idea of what we wanted our project to look like, and based on that, the storyline of the book.

2Sensors
2. Now, we had to investigate and decide which sensors we wanted to use for our project and what sensors we could work with. Once we established our 5 different types of sensors, we ordered them online.
-
3Working on the code
3. One of the hardest parts of the project was working on the code on Arduino, as we had to make sure each and every sensor worked.
-
4Working on the storyline
4. The storyline was also very important to do, as we had to have a story made up that used all the sensors along the story. We made it up, wrote it down and recorded it.
-
5Build the book
5. We now had a very clear idea of what we wanted the book to look like, but now we had to make it happen. We used a recycled box that had a hard cover. We printed the design made on a special paper and pasted it to the box. Now, we made cutouts on the hard cover in the placed the different sensors would be. We also used plastic to go around the book (where the pages are supposed to be), for it to light up with the different LED's.
-
6Put everything together
6. The last and most challenging step was to put all our work together. We had to place all the sensors inside the box, make sure they fitted perfectly. We had to link the voice telling the story with the code and sensors, and also link them with the LED's.
