*(Formerly known as the Pico Hero-had to rename it for trademark resons)

I started out with making my own gaming handheld based on a RP2040 for a couple of reasons but mainly because I like DIY stuff rather than buying ready-to-use gadgets.

I finally ended up making a PCB and a printable case (I got mine printed rather than printing it myself) which I hope I'll be able to share soon so everyone can build her/his own "Pico Held". I also wrote a small software library to interface with the hardware. It's still quite alpha but has some neat features such as hardware conversion for 8 bit buffers enabling you to do double buffering on the Pico's "tiny" memory and multi channel sound playback.
The final version will also features a SD card reader.

For further information, visual material, source code and updates check out my Github page and/or watch the introduction on Youtube (links in the links section).

Hope you enjoy!
