I replaced a very loud fan in my Mac SE using a custom printed fan shroud & modern parts.

Use a long Torx T15 driver to open the Mac SE

Carefully remove the cover off after the screws are removed

Install the fan shroud to the fan

Carefully remove the old fan -- in my case I used a small nut driver and a Phillips style screwdriver

Reuse the old screws to attach the new fan.

Using the Molex adapter, plug the fan into power and test.
