Arm Day

I have modelled in fusion 360 a first rough prototype of the elbow, to test out our motors and insertion methods. 

Yesturday, we've tried to find a way to fix the muscle to the 3D print part we made. We have used an instert. Sadly at the end of the session the ballon inside boke because some smartass decided to put as much pressure as possible. At least we have learned somethings. The next time it will be better 

Today we have made a second prototype. It is basically the same as the first but smaller and also we have filled it with water instead of air, because water is incompressible. We have find that water will probably be more efficient and will be the best option. Soon we will make a device to start the different tests and to know what would be the efficiency. Today i've try the first prototype of what would be the muscle. It work as expected now I'll need to make some tests to see how to make it work. You can see the video in the project file
