The PY32F002A series microcontrollers are cost-effective MCUs with a high performance 32-bit ARM® Cortex®-M0+ core. They feature a wide voltage operating range (1.7V - 5.5V), 20 Kbytes flash, 3 Kbytes SRAM memory, and a maximum operating frequency of 24 MHz. The chip integrates multi-channel I2C, SPI, USART, and other communication peripherals, one channel 12-bit ADC, two 16-bit timers, and two-channel comparators. The PY32F002A series contains various products in different package types.
Cool project, can it be programmed with Arduino framework?
I think not yet but I forget. I think currently it's STcube or PlatformIO and you need to provide a lot of libraries yourself. There's a long running thread on EEVblog about this MCU but I haven't checked recently. The very low price for the chip family is attracting a lot of attention.

As far as I know, there is no Arduino IDE support for the PY32F002A yet.

The Arduino support is already there, but in a different name.
Luatos's AIR001 is an OEM product, it is actually PY32F002A.
