Final log
01/09/2024 at 14:36 • 0 commentsDifficulties encountered:
- loss of time due to the difficulty of getting the crankset to work, as well as the deterioration of the component if we had succeeded.
- The handlebar base, which was originally to have been printed using a 3D printer, took us a long time to find another, more ecological solution.
- pressure problem with the plush ar as the plush put on pressure as standard, plus we didn't get the pressure sensor, so we ended up replacing the system.
- The problem of receiving the component made us really late on the project because of a bad communication and organization, so we did just test during 2 sessions instead of beginning the real circuit. And So we didn’t have time to use the gyroscope sensor and light sensor.
- We had a problem about the connexion between the arduino and the game but thanks to the library Keyboard we succeed to have one of the system worked.

Gyroscope sensor
01/09/2024 at 12:08 • 0 commentsFor this sensor, we managed to configure an Arduino code that we find on a site but not in real life it didn't work because of the arduino card (after several attempts).

Pedals

Tilt sensor
01/09/2024 at 11:35 • 0 commentsWe did a test on tinkercad for the tilt sensor even so we would use a gyroscope sensor but like we didnt receive the sensor yet. But the code worked on tinkercad and not irl even after several times.

PIR sensor
01/09/2024 at 11:09 • 0 commentsFor the PIR sensor, we managed to configure an Arduino code that worked virtually but not in real life But, after several attempts and help with a friend, we managed to do it in real life. So we did the support of this in cardboard.
Also, like we didnt receive the pressure sensor in time, we decided to not do the move of putting the object front or backwards it is not usefull for the game. Also it is much more fun that the fact of throwing a plush irl have the effect to use the object in the game.

Light sensor

Support of steering car wheel
01/09/2024 at 10:55 • 0 commentsWe finally decided to not 3D printing our steering car wheel's support but doing it in cardboard. It is much simple and we don't waste a lot of plastic.

3D print and plush problem
01/09/2024 at 10:48 • 0 commentsWe noticed that in a plush the pressure will not change so we have to put the system in a balloon to have the pressure's variation.
We printed the steering car in 3D and modelized the support that we have to printed. For this system we have changed the sensor into a gyroscope sensor for a better system.

Updates last week
11/27/2023 at 17:58 • 0 commentsWe finally decided to stop the pedal system because it is too difficult to make it and we don't have much time to finish the project so we change the bike 's pedal system by "car pedals". Our car pedals will be use with light sensor so the player will have to push a cardboard to activate the sensor and then move forward.
We started the code for the move 3 thanks to Tinkercad but we have a problem with the light.
