I wanted a simple iPad Mini adapter for my Mavic Pro but couldn't find quite what I wanted online or on Thingiverse. Inspired by this (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1816542) model on Thingiverse, I built a couple of my own; one entirely printable, the other requiring an additional iPad stand.

My second adapter is a single piece base plate which attaches to a $9 iPad holder I bought on Amazon (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00Y4FF1OM). The iPad holder is nicely padded and easily accommodates different size tablets (in case an iPad Mini is not what you want to use).
The first adapter I built is entirely printable. Its consists of two pieces - the base part which slides into the eager embrace of the Mavic Pro controller, and the iPad Mini support which lovely accepts your iPad.
The two pieces are printed separately (I did mine in black PLA) and glued together. I've found Weldon-4 to be excellent for solvent-welding two pieces of PLA together.
