Thanks to the Advent of vibe coding, I been able to add some cool new features and really dial in the mallet timings. Up tempo music is now possible, and an html control panel sends music over BLE MIDI to the drum and includes a built in midi player. Calibration and adjustment commands can be sent from the control panel as well. And, I discovered Claude has a knack for writing music for the specific range of this instrument, including the composition below.
