1. Solder on the socket with the u-dip matching the image on the board.

2. You will need to wire(bridge) the vcc and gnd to pins 8 and 4, respectively. This can be done with a little wire or a glob of solder.

(I recommend bending the pins towards the pads to be wired)

Connect 100 ohm resistors between:

J4 and pin 2

J3 and pin 3

J1 and pin 7

J2 and pin 5

For touch functionality wire: 

J15 and pin 6

The LEDs placement is straightforward, following the available outline with the short leads facing away from the switch.

For Staff badges the process is such: 

1. Place 0805 size LEDs - side mounted - onto the badge according to the layout shown and described in the picture.

2. Run bodge wires as indicated in the image. (or 3 first, whichever seems easier)

3. Place the socket. 

4. Follow steps 3 & 4 from above.
