6502 + NEON PIXELS + CORE MEMORY
Sounds like fun, right?!
This combination of components existed in the late 70's and could have been built at that time. Since I haven't found evidence of that fun combination, I'm going to build it now!

In my quest to dive deeper into the 6502 world, I'm going to merge all three of these projects together - hopefully by VCF Midwest 2024!

After I get the 65uino running this system, I'll take off the training wheels and move it over to a KIM-1. Ultimately, I would love to run this system with the Monster6502!

Pause for Supercon

This project is pausing through the end of 2025 because I am sending in the Core64+Neon Pixels demo to be displayed:

The next phase of the project is to build the big-banging required to drive the Serial Shift Registers. That should relatively straightforward since it's not much different than the code to drive the Neon Pixels.

Finally got what is in ROM to show up correctly on the Neon Pixels!!!
Need to troubleshoot why the second push of the same data is shifted right by one pixel. I think the bit twiddles might be off by a bit, or a byte.
