We are very proud to have completed this project. From the announcement of the project just over 1 month ago we have worked as much as two people can in their spare time to imagine, design, and create a fully functional prototype Mandalorian Vambrace.
We would like to note that anyone who copying this project should check with their local laws on possession of Tasers, EMPs, destructive hardware, and software that can be used with malicious intent.

So the first video is an overview of the Components included in the underside of the mandalorian vambrace. I am aware that there isn't a cover or shell for the vambrace. We don't own a 3d Printer yet (wink!).
The second is a test of the USB Killer. No i didn't kill anything, but i can post to where a similar design did it.
Our project was built so that anyone (even me) can build it. None of the components of the project are original. However they are all collected into one place.
I will list out the links to any software or detailed instructions for creating the hardware.
DBAN USB - This USB (works) is a bootable USB that will autorun Derik's Boot and Nuke, a program that will irrevocable delete the hard drive of the computer it boots to.

USB killer - This device will send a high voltage current through the USB drive and cause serious damage to anything it plugs into.
This is where we bought the Bug zapper for the USB Killer - http://www.harborfreight.com/
Other components required include - USB Male salvaged from a USB Cable
Kali Linux Boot - This USB will allow you to boot up a copy of Kali Linux and bypass Windows Basic security (passwords etc.). We will put a video of us bypassing Windows when we have time but for now you will have to trust us that it works.

Mini-EMP - This EMP will cause some issues for anything that runs off electricity. i.e. small electronics, phones, vending machines, and pacemakers. This is not a toy, and in the wrong hands it can cause destruction of property or death. That being said, here is a youtube on how to make one.
The video lists out the hardware required to make any equipment.
2/20/2016 - First electrocution. ~800,000 Volts. Won't be the last, but i really will try not to have anymore.
Understandable, the first aspect of this vambrace, the taser, is fully functional.
- Voltage Stepup and Battery Casings Professionally wired (Battery to Voltage stepup 1-1 wired) (pic)
- Voltage Stepup and Battery Casings unprofesisonally bonded to forearm top frame. (pic)
- Taser prongs initial bond to handmount (no pic)
- High heat coil attachment for taser created (pic)
Internal Plastic frame parts form hand and forearm created.
Hand - Adult sized rollerblade wrist guard used. To ensure maneuverability and range of motion for wrist, the hard plastic was bisected. (pictures to follow)
Forearm - The internal forearm piece will act as a frame to mount the internal electrical components to. finding a very thin slightly curved plastic component that was durable in nature was a little tricky, however to keep project costs down the frame pieces were cut out of a part of the side of a *Local Home Improvement Store* Bucket using a dremmel tool. Pieces shaped to fit user.
Step 1. Destroy a Thing. For our project, two pieces of curved plastic were Dremelled out of a Home Depot bucket in lieu of a custom molded 3-D printed shell. These pieces should be made to size per the user's forearm.
Step 2: Order some stuff. Find the shopping list above in the components section and purchase everything from Amazon, Harbor freight, or your local Walmart.
Step 3: Destroy More Things. Take apart most of the previously assembled items. This includes the bug zapper, USB Chargers, wristguard, and USB cable.

I'm a big Mandalorian fan and have been hoping to join the Mando Mercs for a few years now. I've seen a lot of people mount cheap Android smartphones inside their gauntlets, but usually just for some pretty animations or controlling their rangefinder.
No slicer would be caught without a datapad (i.e. tablet). http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Datapad/Legends It'd be great to build a shell around some Linux-capable device with a touchscreen. Some sort of tactical mounting onto a belt, armor plate, or bandoleer would suit a Mandalorian slicer. A couple scripts for sniffing, spoofing, etc. would increase the effectiveness of your setup.
A Mandalorian's helmet, bucce, was packed with sensors and computing power. You probably don't have the resources for panoramic vision or terahertz radar, but a Wi-Fi dongle with a compact directional antenna could be concealed in the body of the rangefinder and used for gaining access to a network from a removed location.
I always welcome unsolicited comments. I am totally digging pretty much everything you have. I plan on definitely putting function first, and I like the wifi antenna for the rangefinder idea. For the helmet (way later project) i was thinking of having a small flipdown screen that could display remote camera feeds. couple that with a drone in lieu of a jetpack. I have an Alice pack frame that i can use to construct it onto (Old Army Rucksack frame that is metal).
Datapad is definitely going to be a raspberru pi build.
As for tactical mounting, I definitely have that covered.
The most important part to me is creating something that, although might be the most innovative, is easily replicated by people here. If they steal my design, make it better, and show everyone how awesome it is, i will be the first to stand and applaud.
Thanks for the suggestions, Steven! I would certainly love to implement some of these components into a future contest submission, perhaps either a rev2.0 or another piece of equipment. I have a Pi at my disposal and I'm already pretty familiar with scripting, so we're hoping we can win the 3-D printer to make the next design more structurally refined and aesthetically pleasing. Keep in mind we jumped on this contest at pretty much the last minute so we were on a crash course to get some ideas from paper to our wrist, we'll be much more prepared for the next one!
