New parts

A project log for DIAVOX Cellphone

Turning an old diavox phone into a cellphone. No smart stuff, just a telephone. Pick up the handset and dial just like the old days.

I have some new parts for the project that I ordered from akizukidenshi. I got a bit ahead of my self and finished setting up the debugger first thing.

The AE-RP2040 which is a pico clone made by Akizukidenshi. It's used for the debugger.
Two level shifters modules using the LVC8T245 which can level shift 8 signals. Since I need 7 signals coming from the modem and 4 going to the modem I need two. These modules are also made by Akizukidenshi.
Two EIC 801 breadboards and some jumper wires for less mess wiring. Breadboards came with instructions from akizukidenshi.
Toshiba TB67H450 H-Bridge breakout module. This chip can be used with up to 44 volts so I figured I would try to use it to ring the bells. If it works well I have solved the H-bridge problem. Also by Akizukidenshi.
FT234X Insolated UART module this will be used to connect to the modem console safely, it can also be used for future projects. Made by Akizukidenshi.
Two TPS63802 modules In case I need to power something on a breadboard.
I have no bench powersupply yet. :(

I also got some other various things for example a new bell ringer capacitor since it looks cracked and it's older than me. It's very easy to put things in the cart that has nothing to do with the current project so I restrained myself this time. ;)
