PicoPad

Finally got some time to write about my progress.
I have received the PCBs (kindly fabricated by my sponsor PCBWay).

The quality of the board is pretty impressive and the shipping was fast. I am looking forward to using their services again.

Since I had already received some other components, I started soldering them to the PCB.

The Kailh switches feel very nice. I can't wait to get my Raspberry Pi pico and try typing on them.

Waiting for parts for the project.

Just built the first prototype on a breadboard.

I wrote some code to handle the display and keyboard.
