The first iteration of assembly instructions is here:

I had to grow the scope several times but some important features made it into this release:

• Setup InDesign document with pagination, color profile, export settings, swatches, and fonts.
• Exported to PDF which is now viewable on GitHub, and can be downloaded.
• PDF has an overview page and one or more exploded views for each assembly.
• Within the instructions for each assembly, the printable STL parts are hyperlinked to GitHub from the PDF.
• Included information on fasteners, bearings, and electronics.
• Included information on 3D printing, materials and print suppliers.

The following is out of scope for now:

• Only one page so far lists specific fasteners to use for an assembly - the next iteration will add fastener labels to every single part. Even though much of the suit is being held together by 6 mm and 3 mm socket head screws, there are like 4 different lenghs of each being used.
• No instructions for sewing the harness and which threads, needles, and stretch bands to get.
• No instructions on machining pistons on a lathe.
• No instructions for assembling pistons with internals to allow them to be worn without falling apart (i.e. rubber rings and cord that prevents moving shaft from falling out).
• No detail for setting up electronics, just an overview. Not a big deal since it's very simple, but should be addressed eventually.
• No instructions for fake wiring. There are certain structural wires that hold the spine together by going through spine links, and the spine will not assemble without them.

For anyone interested, here's a basic overview of assembling the Spine. The videos are still pretty bad because I have to shoot them myself, but this will be addressed soon.
