A group of students from Poland has created their own microcontroller. The ability to write good code is an extremely important element of any CV in today’s IT job market. Not everyone knows that nearly every device programmer started their career by coding microcontrollers, which have been in continuous use for the past 50 years.

In the 1980s, the company Atmega created its legendary microcontroller. Since then, their microcontrollers have become a benchmark for other classics such as STM and ESP32. The Italian company Arduino saw the potential in Atmega’s microcontrollers and released their first Arduino—a prototype board designed for developing prototype devices, learning how to handle them, and creating finished products based on their components.

AssDuino is a fun gadget, a curiosity for experienced developers. Everyone will look at this microcontroller with a sense of nostalgia.
