I'm a tech enthusiast and strongly believe that AR and VR will dominate the tech world in the next few decades.

There are many cool smart glasses on the market, like the Even G1, Meta Ray-Ban, and Brilliant Labs Frame. I'd love to make my own version that's really fun to use - one that can snap onto your everyday glasses when needed and can be operated without hanging on the glasses (similar to how the portable Rabbit R1 works as an AI companion).

This is my first version of TPGmini, (I'm working on a smaller version)

TPGmini offers several apps that essentially work by sending data to a computer for processing and receiving results back for display on the device. These include:

  • Live Caption (functional but with some latency)
  • Gemini integration
  • Sound detection (for horns, dogs, ambulance sirens, etc.), designed specifically for people with hearing loss

The device can also capture photos and record low-resolution videos, thanks to the ESP32 S3 Sense's built-in camera and microphone, making it useful for developing your own custom applications.
