The motorized trim project is based on a stepper motor system that allows trim adjustment either electrically or manually.

Main Features:

Electric Operation: When there is voltage in the master bus, the trim can be operated using buttons or manually, providing precise and automatic adjustment.

Manual Mode: The trim can still be operated manually even when there is voltage in the master bus.

Flexible Connectivity: The system can be used in two ways:

As a standalone device connected directly to the simulator.

Integrated into the FFair control unit of my force feedback system, enhancing its functionalities and allowing more complete integration with other controls.

Additional Details:

The buttons, which are typically placed on the yoke (either two separate buttons or a momentary Down - Off - momentary Up switch), move the stepper motor as long as there is voltage in the aircraft's ma
