First update.
18 hours ago • 0 commentsI decided to make this a postable project on hackaday. As mentioned in the description this is a portable SDR unit that I'm going to be using to scan for signals of various types. I uploaded a bunch of progress photos in the gallery.
I'm using openscad for the case layout and Design. I've gone 9 revisions and I've 3d printed at least one half of the case from 5. I've made various revisions at each 3D printed stage and it has been a great tool on an overall design.
I added five buttons along with a rotary controller to the front panel. The left side has a power button and usb-c power charging connector. As far as the software goes, my plan is to write some original code gluing together many other decoding and demodulation software packages all into one user interface.
