1Step 1
Buy all the components, print the braille wheels (with the 3D printer) and make the cut (with the laser cutter) for the box .
PS : the wheels models and the plan for the box are in the files.
-
2Step 2
Connect each stepper motors to a shield .
-
3Step 3
Connect every shield to the outputs of the Arduino card.
-
4Step 4
You need to power the shield (to power the motors) .
-
5Step 5
Fix the printed wheels on the stepper motors.
-
6Step 6
Put together one big side of the box to the side with the long hole (where you'll can touch the dots)
-
7Step 7
Stick the motors on the biggest side, the wheels have to be not far from the edge of the box (to have dots a little outside the hole) .
Don't mix the stepper motors (the order counts)
-
8Step 8
Put each shield and the arduino on a layer of polystyrene because you won't be able to stick the shield and card directly on the medium.
-
9Step 9
Stick the shield on a side of the box, in a way that the alimentation cable will be long enough .
-
10Step 10
Assemble the side which is at the opposite of the one with the long hole.
