Regardless of how you feel about Walmart, they are everywhere in the United States. 3D printers, while getting more common, are not. We can create a bunch of designs for low income people to create their own assistive devices with 3D printing but if they don't have access to one, what is the point?

Designs need to be created around their needs and their resources. This project is exploring the concept of creating a variety of assistive devices by hacking products that can be found in a Walmart and a local hardware store. Ideally, with as few hand tools as possible.

The first attempt is the ButtWand. It is looking at repurposing a Clorox ToiletWand into something that a person could use to clean themselves on the toilet.
