This project is a compact ESP32-based wireless SD card interface designed for situations where traditional USB data transfer isn’t possible or supported. The device doesn’t use USB for data — only for power. Instead, it exposes the SD card over Wi-Fi so files can be accessed through any standard web browser.
This becomes useful in scenarios like locked or restricted systems, devices with damaged USB data pins, phones without OTG support. With the ESP32 running the interface, the SD-MMC bus operates in 4-bit mode for improved performance, reaching speeds of up to ~500 kbps in practical use
No drivers, apps, or special software are required — if a device has a browser, it can read, write, rename, upload, delete, and manage files wirelessly on the SD card.
