Quasi ScientistI've made a video of simple diode. As part of building CRT. Basically I have filament and gate. Gate is connected 60volt and resistor. I've measured the voltage drop on resistor.
I've got 2.5v without burning filament, I could try more but didn't want to ruine the diode.
Filament is heated with about 2.5volt (with about 5amperes, yeah it's not very efficient light bulb)
