This is for anyone who wants a strong rail without the weakness of standard linear rods or the cost / mounting constraints of supported bearings. Simply pick the T-slot that's slot is under the rod size so it can nestle in, the clamp the ends so it doesn't jump out. The version shown is 10mm rods with (if I remember) 30/40mm t-slot. V-slot can work too.
