Mounting Faceplate

I was intending to use double sided tape to adhere the faceplate, since I thought that would be the quickest path to a working prototype I could test. But after rummaging through my skate parts bin, I found some skate axles that were internally threaded (M4). These were originally intended for holding the heel brake onto the skate frame, but its just as useful to hold the faceplate onto it. I bought some M4 screws at home depot and was able to mount it securely enough.

I also ordered some silicone plugs for the usb C port, to protect it from road dust during testing. I just need to model a cap for the power switch to call it complete enough for the first revision.

I'll try to demonstrate it to other skaters this coming weekend at a local roller / inline skate camp to see what others think. I'll see if I can recruit a better skater than I to try some fancy moves and record it in action.
