Dynamic Zero (DZ) is an experimental open-source loudspeaker architecture based on controlled reciprocal pneumatic interaction behind the driver diaphragm.
The internal pneumatic structure retains part of the state and energy from the preceding half-cycle and uses it in interaction with the incoming half-cycle.
Unlike bass-reflex systems, resonance is not the intended operating mechanism. Internal resonances are treated as parasitic conditions to be minimized.
The project is currently experimental. Prototype measurements, raw REW data, CAD files and build information are published openly for independent testing.
