1Step 1
3D print parts
I printed everything except the buttons with black PLA at 0.025 (!!!) mm layer height. The buttons were printed with black TPE.
-
2Step 2
Populate PCB
I started with the FPC connector since it's the most difficult one to work with and I don't have a hot air gun.
-
3Step 3
Insert LCD on connector
-
4Step 4
Screw LCD support piece to the board and back face piece
Use the M3x8 countersunk screws to do this. Place the LCD inside the support piece afterwards.
-
5Step 5
Insert M3x12 countersunk screws to subassembly
Do not fully screw in yet. Make sure it is flush.
-
6Step 6
Place inner body on top of the whole subassembly
Make sure the gap is near the buttons and not the battery.
-
7Step 7
Place front face and screw everything together
Tighten and make sure everything is as flush as it can be.
-
8Step 8
Place strap and M2x12 screws
