I have become fascinated by hex and quad pods. My goal is to design a custom quad/hex pod for use with my miniSam-Zero board.
I want 3 DOF on the legs and a center portion with 2 DOF, think wider body and extra height when needed.
I'll be using Fusion360 to design the robot, and a mix of sensors.
Design Goals:
- Sturdy frame.
- start out with 9G servos as they are cheap for prototyping.
- force sensors on feet.
- 3 DOF legs.
- 2 DOF body.
- Distance sensor.
- 6 or 3 axis IMU.
- WiFi enabled or Bluetooth.
- autonomous + commendable.
