-
3Step 3
Laser cut case, and mount PCB on large standoffs for thermal air movement around FET
-
4Step 4
Use IPhone/Android phone or other method to register Photon with the cloud and set the Wifi connection. Recommend putting the MAC address of the Photon into your router for a static or static dhcp assignment so you can find it later.
-
5Step 5
Using Desktop IDE or USB connection to Photon, amend the source code for your situation and upload to Photon (also recommend updating to the latest firmware version)
-
6Step 6
Note: Due to the cloud not always being available (like when your internet connection is down), the Photon will boot up without the cloud. Connect with a web browser to the Photon, and use the Switch On Cloud button to upload new software to the device. if something gets messed up, you can always boot into Safe Mode on the Photon to force a cloud connection.
