1Download the CAD files (Not Ready Yet)
I will be releasing these on or around the first test flight.
-
2Print the files as recommended
Only the Lower Chassis requires support material.
-
3Install recommended or desired components.
This frame isnt strong enough to be a proper race quad, however swap out the LG HG2 cells for a proper LiPo, and you could still probably get some pretty decent speeds.
-
4Setup the flight controllerI'm personally using a PXFmini and will likely release an image suitable for the Pi Zero Wireless, to make this process simpler. However you could use a different flight controller.
-
5Do the usual testing
With props removed, test that the motors respond properly and rotate in the appropriate directions.
Then do a tethered flight test.
-
6Tuning
Tune your PIDs. This varies from flight controller to flight controller, however it *will* need to be done on this quad. Its quite powerful and has a slightly rearward center of mass, so itll likely have oscillations in at least the pitch direction prior to tuning.

7Do as you wish
Whether its adding gear to aid in search and rescue missions (such as radio repeaters, improved optics, other sensors), or setting up to be light and fast, make it yours. Thats why Ive provided the files :)
