1Step 1
Download and build board files: https://github.com/arkorobotics/CUBEX_V1/tree/master/Board
-
2Step 2
Order CUBEX BOM: https://github.com/arkorobotics/CUBEX_V1/blob/master/Board/BOM.xlsx
-
3Step 3
Assemble the CUBEX Motherboard, MCU first, test by reading device ID using the ICSP port, then assemble the rest.
-
4Step 4
Assemble the CUBEX Camera, Radio, and Solar Cell board.
-
5Step 5
Powering the Motherboard, Camera, and Radio board using a power supply set to 3.3v, upload the code available at: https://github.com/arkorobotics/CUBEX_V1/tree/master/Code
-
6Step 6
Plug in a USB-RTL (or any sdr device) to your computer, tune (using the sdr-sharp) to 434.460Mhz USB and wait for SSDV/RTTY signal.
-
7Step 7
Decode the SSDV/RTTY data using the DL-FLDIGI HAB Mode software: http://ukhas.org.uk/projects:dl-fldigi
-
8Step 8
Finally, assemble CUBEX Power Board, LTC3536 section first, connect a power supply (set to 4.2v) to the battery input and measure the LTC3536 (buck-boost) output to assure the output is 3.3v. Then solder on the LTC3105 (solar charger) and solar cells to the CUBEX Solar Cell board. Connect a lipo battery, to complete the build.
