I printed the mount, made the tiny board.
Then I used a hot glue gun to glue the board onto the mount. And then held the reed switch in place with tape whilst soldering it onto the board.

For using the pulse counter with loxone- to convert the m3 gas into kWh that loxone uses, I use a conversion factor of 9.184 as shown- I think this gives reasonable accuracy.
