Description

The goal of this project is to get a radio backpack with a tuner, panorama view, and digital modes. Among other features I'd like to have a tuner, panorama view, digi mode interface.

Components

  • 1 × Yaesu FT-857 radio
  • 1 × LDG AT-7000 tuner (any LDG tuner for icoms should work)
  • 1 × an Arduino board

    Cleaned up the code a bit. Published instructions on Github.

  • Tuning controller HW prototyping done

    Prototype hardware works. One button push to:

    1. change Tx power to 8W
    2. start tuning
    3. press PTT
    4. restore original Tx power when the tuning cycle ends

    Next up: code cleanup, hardware soldered together.
