Lots of pictures, click 'read more' to see them all.
---------- more ----------Resawed the board to get bookmatched top / bottom Installing kerfing First part of fretboard inlays - the vines. Used veneer after cutting the fretboard with the scroll saw. Gluing the headstock in place Preparing the inlaid leaves. I first added veneer as the vein patterns on the leaves themselves, just like I did to make the vines on the fretboard. After each leaf had veins on it, I inlaid each leaf onto the fretboard at the correct location. Added fretboard binding Reinforcing the sound holes Gluing the top on. A bicycle inner tube cut about 1/4" wide makes for a very long elastic band. Fretboard completed, with finish and hollow cut out A couple of beauty shots -
