Description

It's just a computer. I couldn't find a decent computer in this form factor — it seems each lacks some essential component (e.g. the keyboard) or is crippled by design in what OS it would deign to load for the lowly user.

Ultimate feature goals:
• Wi-fi + LTE connectivity
• Keyboard + (capacitive?) touch screen

1 × BPI-M64 Single-board computer
1 × Huawei ME909s-120 LTE modem with PCM audio
1 × Sysmocom mPCIe break-out board v3 mPCIe-(USB + pin header) break-out board
2 × Taoglas FXUB68 Ultra-wide-band patch antenna
1 × A-mini B USB cable

Modem working to connect my notebook to Internet

I connected my notebook to the Internet with the Huawei ME909s-120 modem a few days ago. Procedure (on Void Linux):
- Plug it in
- ```
xbps-install libmbim # install libmbim
modprobe cdc-wdm
APN=whatever sudo -E mbim-network /dev/cdc-wdm0 start
dhcpcd whatever
```
For T-Mobile USA, APN="fast.t-mobile.com".
Next goals: figure out how to send and receive SMS and voice calls.
