Modem working to connect my notebook to Internet
12/13/2017 at 21:45 • 0 commentsI connected my notebook to the Internet with the Huawei ME909s-120 modem a few days ago. Procedure (on Void Linux):
- Plug it in
xbps-install libmbim # install libmbim modprobe cdc-wdm APN=whatever sudo -E mbim-network /dev/cdc-wdm0 start dhcpcd whatever
For T-Mobile USA, APN="fast.t-mobile.com".
Next goals: figure out how to send and receive SMS and voice calls.
