Currently building a robotic arm with my 9 yr old based on a design created by jjshortcut

First pic is on original design by jjshortcut. With laser cut parts from Ponoko, we are using a combination of images and a Solidworks model for assembly instructions.

Second pic is our completed gripper.

Day 1 - Gripper. Works great! Amazed what a 9yr old boy can do. I helped him turn some of the nylock nuts and finetune a few things but he put the whole thing together from the a model in a solidworks viewer. Next is the arm to attach it too.
