The ROM images are currently stored in the parallel Flash memory of the board.
I plan to add support for SD-Card, and find a way to connect either original pads or USB pads, so it would be possible to actually play games. As it will require some extra hardware, it will be done in the scope of another project.
It would be COOL to make a real Homebrew SEGA MegaDrive/Genesis with legacy ICs.
