Step 1

Solder a 2x4 Female Pin Header to the spot right next to the micro controller.

Step 2

Solder the 2x3 Female Pin Header to JP3

Step 3

Attach USB to Serial adaptor to JP1 and start up Arduino IDE

Step 4

Connect the bottom-center + and - connection terminals to a 3V power source (CR3023 Battery, 2 x AA Battery, ..)

Step 5

Upload your code to the Cumulus Sensor Node (Select Duemilanove w/ ATmega328)

Step 6

Solder the 16MHz Crystal Oscillator

Step 7

Solder the 2 x 22pF Supporting Capacitors for the Crystal Oscillator

Step 8

Solder the 3 x 220 Ohm Resistors (the 3 resistor spots nearest to the Crystal Oscillator)

Step 9

Solder the 10K resistor next to the JP1 connector (Top)

Step 10

Solder 3 x 3mm LEDs (Top is Yellow, Bottom Left is Red, Bottom Right is Green)
