I ordered a few trinkets from Hackaday when they announced their "Trinket Everyday Carry" contest. I've always wanted to find a reason to use an Adafruit trinket, and this seems like as good a reason as any!
My wife actually came up with the timer idea, mainly for our kids. We are constantly having to use timers with them. For homework, sharing toys, etc. We've been using everything from kitchen timers to our iPhones. I wanted something they could each have, and keep with them. Something that didn't cost $200 used on eBay.
I'm going to drop a trinket pro, a lipo battery, a bunch of LEDs and some push buttons into a small case of some kind, and write enough code to give it several functions.
I'd love to hear from you if you have ideas!
Thanks for taking the time to read this log!
